Simple Homemade Applesauce Recipe
Have lots of apples that are just rotting on the ground? Need a quick way to use them up? Learn how to make homemade applesauce that’s easy and quick!
Peeling & Coring
Prep the apples by peeling & coring them. Remove any damaged bits.
Soaking in Water
To avoid too much browning, throw the prepped apples into a sinkful of water.
Slowly start cooking the apples in a large pot. Stir frequently to avoid burning.
As the apples start breaking down, use a potato masher to help get rid of any big chunks.
Add sugar, maple syrup or your desired sweetener as needed.
Easiest way to store your applesauce is to freeze it in yoghurt containers.
